Wheat straw has a natural "golden" sheen. Stalks of wheat straw are first dyed to enhance the effect or to give the straw a rich antique colour. The dyed stalks are then split open, hand-wrapped around rush ropes, and then woven on the wooden frame. We show a very limited selection of our chair seats.
